U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal draw: Philadelphia Union host NY Red Bulls, Minnesota United face Chicago Fire

The quarterfinals are set for the US Open Cup, with the last eight teams that are now able to map their way to the final of the most historic football competition of the United States.

Regional matchups will be central during the quarterfinals, with the Philadelphia Union the New York Red Bulls and Minnesota United organizing that welcomes the Chicago Fire. Nashville SC now records DC United and the San Jose, Austin FC will come across to complete the last eight.

The quarterfinalists took varied approaches to reach this phase, some won their round of 16 games in a more dramatic way than others.
