Stanley Cup Final 2025: Evander Kane says Panthers ‘seem to get away’ with more penalties

The Florida panthers took control of the Stanley Cup final after dominating the Edmonton Oilers in a 6-1 victory in the game 3. After the Monday competition, Evander Kane said that the Panthers were not whistled for so many penalty calls.

“It seems to move away more than we do.” Said Kane. “It’s hard to find the line. They are doing as much as we do. It seems that there is a little more attention to our group.”

In match 3, the Oilers were whistled by 21 penalties, which lasted a total of 85 minutes, while the panthers accumulated only 14 penalties for 55 minutes. The Panthers were able to take advantage of their time in the game of power, as three of their six goals came through the advantage of the man.

Kane ended up penalized twice during the first period of the match 3. The Oilers end received a crutched penalty penalty, while also penalized by a great deal.

Throughout the second period, there was only one penalty, but the final period went out. During a bar line halfway through the third period, several players received misconduct penalties, including Sam Bennett, Mattias Ekholm and Darnell Nurse. Kane also received a sentence of misconduct after reducing Carter Verhaeghe later in the period.

The tensions certainly increased during the final 20 minutes, but Kane did not express their belief that it was because the panthers put themselves under the skin of the oilers.

“No, I don’t think so. I think the game obviously went out of hand at the end,” Kane added. These things will happen. Look at some of the calls and no, [and] Obviously, some are frustrating. “

The panthers committed more penalties than the oilers in each of the first two games of the Stanley Cup final.

With a victory in match 3, the Panthers have won attached matches to get a 2-1 lead in the series. The Brad Marchand end, which scored a couple of goals in a 5-4-hour victory in match 2, opened the scoreboard in match 3 to help the Panthers begin.

The Panthers seek to make a 3-1 lead of the series Thursday in the game 4.
