By acquiring regional regional, all 16 host institutions were also selected for the 64-team master field.
Each regional field contains four teams that play in double elimination format. All 16 regions are scheduled to perform from Friday 30 May to Monday 2nd June (if necessary).
Florida State organizes baseball regional regional for 37. Time in the history of the tournament, most in every school. UCLA has been organizing for the first time since 2019.
Oregon and Southern Mississippi organize the fourth time in the history of the school, and the last three NCAA champions (Ole Miss, LSU, Tennessee) have all gained a host opportunity.
Florida State, Georgia, North Carolina, Oregon State and Tennessee organized regional in 2024, while Arkansas and Clemson organize the third successive season.
Tournament 2025: All you need to know for the 2025 di baseball tournament
The entire 64-team field, the Top-16 National Seeds, the first round of regional pairing and the tasks of the site will be announced at noon (ET) on Monday 26 May. The one -hour program will be displayed live on ESPN2. The Committee sets the entire parenthesis of 64 teams through the Super Regionals and the first round of Men’s College World Series and will not be again after the game.
The selection of eight super regional hosts will be announced at www.ncaa.com/mcws, Tuesday 3 June to 10:00 (ET).
There are 29 Division I conferences that will receive an automatic bed in the 64, along with 35 large selections. The world series of the male college starts playing on Friday, June 13 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha in Nebraska.
