Kazmaier anchored Princeton’s defense in 1981-1986. As a newcomer, she gained an honorary honor to All-IVa League and was appointed to the second team of All-Ivy League as Sophomore and Junior. The selection process begins every year in February, when female hockey coaches NCAA NC are asked to nominate players for the price. Each player for several coaches is then placed on the official vote, which is returned to make the coaches narrow to 10 finalists.

The three finalists and the winner are then selected by a 13 -member selection committee, which includes female hockey coaches NCAA NC, representatives of press and broadcasting media and large members and representatives of American hockey.
