Panthers celebrate second straight Stanley Cup championship with epic outing at Fort Lauderdale bar

The Florida Panthers made history on Tuesday night as the third team of the salary era (since 2005-06) to win Stanley Cups on their back. They also became the fourth team in NHL history to beat the same team in consecutive years to win a Stanley Cup.

Now, how does a team celebrate their second consecutive Stanley Cup? The panthers descended on an iconic bar Fort Lauderdale, Elbo Room, with the Stanley Cup on the foot of the foot for the second consecutive year.

Just as the sun arrives, the Pantherian captain, Aleksander Barkov, reached a police vehicle and had the Stanley Cup in possession.

“We enjoy this, but a three-tower is a very good possibility,” Barkov said while conducting an interview in the rear seat of the vehicle, through CBS Miami.

According to WPTV in West Palm Beach, Matthew Tkachuk, Gustav Forsling, Barkov and many other panthers were wearing the Stanley Cup inside the famous beach bar in the early hours of the morning. Safe to say that the group has probably not slept since the end of match 6.

Most of the Panthers list ended up making their way to the Elbo room and lifted the Stanley Cup so that fans can see while partying on the balcony of the bar, which is viewed to S. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. The players even dumped a little beer in the Stanley Cup and threw it to the fans below.

After winning the Stanley Cup in 2024, Tkachuk brought the iconic trophy to the Atlantic Ocean to swim quickly. This performance was not replicated, as the NHL made it clear that the Stanley Cup was not allowed to enter the ocean after last year’s chaos, according to CBS Miami.

While the Panthers held on Wednesday in Elbo Room, this will not be the last possibility of the team.

According to South Florida Sun Sentinel, the mayor of Fort Lauderdale, Dean Trantalis, has confirmed that the parade of the Panthers Championship will take place on Sunday. The championship celebration will travel “most likely” on the beach of Fort Lauderdale and will begin at noon.

It is estimated that a multitude of at least 200,000 fans attended the parade of the Panthers Championship in 2024.
