No. 4 seeds shine, make history in Day 2 of NCAA baseball tournament regionals
1st day of 2025 was the Regionals of the NCAA baseball tournament filled with magic or what some could describe as unthinkable.
Even the screenplay could not conjure up the premiere of the series, where four seeds No. 1 lost their regional opener – one short from the 2004 record – and a lot of competitions that dropped to the wire.
Nevertheless, the episode two of the tournament supported these claims, specifically surrounding the success of the seeds No. 4. Here is a view of how the group was successful on the second day of the regional round.
Murray State joins a historical company with a start of 2-0
The competitors won their first NCAA tournament since 1979 on Saturday and shot down No. 1 Ole Miss, 9-6.

Although the number of four seeds that has lost is more than half a bunch of 16 teams, it is surprisingly one of the best performances of the group in the years.
Ten or more four seeds were excluded by the first team in their respective regions in the last six seasons.

4 Little Rock Pummels no. 3 Rhode Island
On Saturday afternoon there was a storm in Baton Rouge, but it was not the average interference that one thinks of when he hears this term.
Little Rock caused a loud disruption to the Alex Box Stadium stadium and beat Rhode Island 22-12. It was the first victory in Trojan horses and the most runs in one game for them all season.

4 Wright State returns to defeat No. 3 East Tennessee State
The robbers on Saturday set out their NCAA tournament in eight NCAA games and in the seventh and eighth shifts they gained three unanswered runs to eliminate No. 3 ETSU 7-5.
It was the first victory in Wright State since 2016.
The third Baseman Patrick Fultz crushed the solo home run to tie him up, and Shortstop Luke Arnold slapped the two-run Homer to the left center in eighth place.
The score took place from there when the right -hander Jarrett Heilman and Lefty Hit Lax joined to give up only two hits in the last 4.4 shifts of the competition. The robbers will accept No. 1 Vanderbilt on Sunday and fight for a place in the regional finals against No. 2 Louisville.
