NHL suspends Lightning forward Brandon Hagel one game for illegal hit on Panthers’ Aleksander Barkov
Tampa Bay Lightning striker, Brandon Hagel announced on Friday. Barkov was forced to leave Thursday’s game after success and did not return.
In the third period of the 2-0 victory of the Panthers on Lightning, Barkov left Hagel and Tampa’s Ombudsman, Ryan McDonagh, in the corner. McDonagh won the race, playing shit around the boards.
Despite this, Hagel put a strong blow to Barkov, who struck the ice and boards very strongly. Barkov did not return and his condition is unknown for the game 3. Helgel was a significant penalty of five minutes for interference.
After reviewing the work, the Nhl The players’ security department announced on Friday that Hagel would be suspended. The league said that Hagel gave “extremely forceful body control to an unsuspected opponent with sufficient force for additional discipline.”
The players’ security department added that even if Hagel thought that Barkov was about to play fucking, Hagel is responsible for knowing if Barkov has his possession.
“It is important to keep in mind that Barkov is not in possession of shit in this work and, therefore, is not eligible to check it,” Dops said in his ad. “Although we understand the hagel’s argument approaching the play as if Barkov touches the shit, the UNAUs is in Heagel to ensure that the player who hits is eligible to check it.”
With Helgel definitely for game 3 on Saturday afternoon, all eyes head to Barkov. The Captain of the Panthers was not eliminated on Friday, but coach Paul Maurice did not officially rule it out.
Barkov has been critical of maintaining the Lightning Nikita Kucherov superstar in control through two games. If you can’t go, Florida will need Sam Bennett and Anton Lundell to increase and eat a few minutes in the middle.
