NHL Playoffs 2025: Stanley Cup schedule, bracket, scores, as Panthers rout Maple Leafs to reach East final

Another year has ended in the heart of the leaves of Toronto Maple and its fans. The Florida Panthers entered Toronto for match 7 of their second round playoffs series and directed the leaves, 6-1, to reach the Eastern Conference Final for the third consecutive season.

When the teams played a goal without a goal at the end of the first period, it seemed that we headed for an epic game 7. Then the Panthers took a stranger in the game at the beginning of the second period and we never looked back. Ombudsman Seth Jones, who had an exceptional game, launched a three -goal shot at 6:24 for Florida.

That hut stunned the multitude of the Scots sand and Toronto did not respond to the ice. The panthers won the territorial battle by a wide margin and added three more objectives of the third period for a good measure.

At the end of the game, the Toronto faithful were receiving their team, which collapsed after jumping to a 2-0 series lead. It was an ugly scene that included some fans throwing clothes and drinks on the ice.

On the other hand, the final defense of the Stanley Cup of the Panthers is still alive. Outside Jones, they made great contributions from Aleksander Barkov (two assists), Brad Marchand (three points) and Sergei Bobrovsky (20 savings).

The Panthers will now play the hurricanes of Carolina in the finals of the conference, a resale of the final of the Eastern Conference of 2023. Florida devastated Carolina that year.

In West, Dallas Stars advanced to assume the Edmonton Oilers after a dramatic victory of the overtime on the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night. Thomas Harley got the game winner pushed Dallas to the final of the Western Conference for the third consecutive year.
