NHL Playoffs 2025: Stanley Cup schedule, bracket, scores, as Panthers crush Hurricanes in Game 1

The Florida panthers had just shot in match 1 of the Eastern Conference Final. Two days after hammering the leaves of Toronto Maple in match 7, the Panthers entered Raleigh and dominated the Hurricanes of Carolina for a 5-2 victory in match 1.

The panthers struck the hurricanes in the first period when Carter Verhaeghe dragged a silk and soft shot in the hand of the hurricane shoulder, Frederik Andersen. Aaron Ekblad doubled the score a few minutes later, and the game was never really in question later.

Carolina’s captain, Sebastian Aha, turned him into a 2-1 game in the first one with a slightly controversial goal, but this was as tight as the scoreboard. Five different players marked the panthers, as their offensive depth gave them a new advantage, and Sergei Bobrovsky became another start of quality with 31 savings in 33 shots.

The final of the Eastern Hurricane Conference continued with a 13th consecutive loss in this round. This streak goes back to 2009, and Carolina’s next opportunity to do it will reach game 2 on Thursday night.

Prior to that, the Dallas Stars and Edmonton Oilers will go to the end of the final of the Western Conference last year. The stars reach an intense six -game battle against Winnipeg Jets, but Edmonton Oilers have been out for a while after taking care of business against Golden Golden Knights in five games.

There will be a lot of fire force on the ice when this series begins. Mikko Rantanen, the highest scorer in these playoffs, directs the stars against Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and the rest of Oilers.
