NHL Playoffs 2025: Mikael Granlund paces Stars with hat trick vs. Jets, headlines 3 Stars of the Night

The second round of the Playoffs of the Stanley Cup, certainly, was not short in the drama, and this remained the case this Tuesday.

In the playoff game of the night, Dallas Stars were able to defeat the Winnipeg Jets 3-1 in match 4 and take a 3-1 series lead in the process. Forward Mikael Grandlund recorded the first trick of his playoff race, while goalkeeper Jake Oettinger proved to be a brick wall among the pipes.

With another night in the rearview mirror, we take a close look at some of the spectacular performances that resulted in the Tuesday contest.

The jets were extremely aggressive offensively throughout the game 4, but they ended up without a ton to show the scoreboard. One of Winnipeg’s positive was the play by the protagonist Nikolaj Ehlers, who scored the solitary goal for his team at the beginning of the second period.

The jets had a game of power that took place from the first period to the second frame. The Jets were the best offensive team for a lot of game 4, and even seemed to take control of the impulse. However, Granlund was able to push his team to a victory with a Hat-Trick performance on Tuesday.

Grandlund began his stellar night when he caused a retention penalty to Jet Ombudsman Dylan Delelo to establish a power play. In the power play, Grandlund brought shit in the defensive zone, headed for the Jets Parker Ford and pulled out a shot that passed under Hellebuyck’s glove. In the second period, Granlund provided the violation again when he entered the offensive area in a situation of two to one with his teammate Roope Hintz, but chose to keep the shit and sent a shot shot about the Hellebuyck glove. Finally, Granlund was able to get Hat Trick in a timer who was created by the star defender Miro Heiskanen, who was playing in his first game since January due to a knee injury.
