Fever’s Caitlin Clark scores 32 points in return from injury vs. Liberty

Caitlin Clark scored 25 of her season height of 32 points in the first half and, when she returned, contributed to a 102-88 victory against the New York Liberty on Saturday.

Clark ended the 11-against-20 shootout, including the binding of her career high with seven, 3-digiters made in 14 attempts. Since Clark’s presence opened the ground, the fever (5-5) set up a franchise record with 17 made 3S attempts (48.6%). Clark also distributed nine assists and got eight rebounds.

It was Clark’s third career -WNBA game, in which she scored at least 30 points, scored at least five rebounds and distributed at least five templates.

Kelsey Mitchell added 22 points, Lexie Hull 14, Aliyah Boston scored 10 points and scored 11 rebounds and reserve Sydney Colson scored 10 points. It was the first time that Indiana reached three -digit digits this season.

The fever achieved a 2-3 record with Clark from the line-up with a tense quadriceps.

Sabrina Ionescu scored a high season of 34 points for 11-of-20 shootings, including 4 for 10 of 3. Breaana Stewart scored 24 points and Nyara Sabally scored ten for Liberty (9-1) for the first time this season.
