Fever star Caitlin Clark’s quad strain to be re-evaluated this weekend

Caitlin Clark, Fever star from Indiana, said that she was still with a left-wing quadriceps burden every day, but will be re-evaluated this weekend after the team’s game on Saturday in Chicago Sky.

On Thursday, Clark spoke to reporters for the first time since the injury during the defeat of Indiana against the New York Liberty on May 24th. You should miss at least two weeks.

“I have the feeling that I have made a lot of progress,” said Clark, adding that she was able to see games from the bank.

“I won’t come back,” said the 2024 WNBA rookie of the year. “It’s just not worth it. But after this weekend I will be rated and we will have a better idea.”

Clark said that she was not sure where the injury took place in the game, but it estimated that it was early. She added that she was in pain after the game and got an MRI that “revealed the result I didn’t want to see”.

The fever has run 1-2 in the three games that Clark has missed since the injury.

She played in all 40 games and both playoff games last season and in the first four games this year. She missed Indiana’s first pre -season game this year with a leg injury.

Clark achieves an average of 19.0 points, 9.3 assists and 6.0 rebounds this season.
