The collision of Manchester City in Bournemouth heads the quarter -final draw for the FA Cup, with eight teams transferred to the Historic Cup competition.
Preston North End, who takes on Aston Villa in the quarterfinals, is the only lower League side that the last eight cracks after expeling fellow championshipsburnley on Saturday. The rest of the field consists of Premier League teams, although very few heavyweights reached the quarterfinals, which increases the possibility that a surprising competition ultimately wins the whole thing. Manchester City is now the heavy favorites to take the whole thing home.

Manchester City, the FA Cup winners of 2023, are the only one of the traditional top six of the Premier League that are still in the race, although a handful of teams in the top 10 of the competition are still in the race. Seventh place Bournemouth, the ninth place Fulham and 10th place Aston Villa went to the quarterfinals, while third place could add Nottingham Forest on Monday if they defeated the 18th place of Ipswich Town.
