EFL League One and League Two: What to know as Paul Mullin moves on from Wrexham, Americans to watch and more

After having undergone their second consecutive relegation, Luton Town, a Premier League side, is only two seasons ago, now in League One, while Wimbledon has obtained promotion to League One after winning the League Two Playoff’s last campaign. Two clubs that move in opposite directions, it is a great way to break into one of the most difficult times of English football and escape from the English football competition.

With three divisions of 24 teams each, the slightest slip can see that giants fall into a spiral that is quite difficult to get out. Sunderland may have completed their climb back to the Premier League, but looking around the Divisions, Luton Town, Bolton, Huddersfield Town, Wigan Athletic and Cardiff City are just a few of the big names that are directed under the championship, who want to claw their way back to the Premier League. But what are a few things to know about the League One and League Two Seasons before they start?

Giants fall

Luton Town is not the only new inhabitants of League One after the hatters of the championship were banned. Cardiff City also came to them after winning a Division-Lage nine games. The Bluebirds have not been in the Premier League since the 2018-19 season, and this will be another season without a Welsh club in the top flight, which has been the case since their relegation. Swansea City and Wrexham come closest to the Premier League, but Cardiff will want to ensure that this stay in League One is short.
