Capitals’ Alexander Alexeyev pepper-sprayed, charged with public intoxication following alleged fight
Washington Capital Ombuds According to a report from Arlnow. Alexeyev was accused of public poisoning after alleged altercation with another man outside a bar in the neighborhood of Clarendon d’Arlington, Virginia.
Arlington County Police Department spokesman Kiyah Daniell told Arlnow that a testimony marked police officers after seeing a fight between two men at 3:26 AM outside the Big Tony pizza on the 3100 Blvadon Blvd blog.
When the officers arrived at the scene, Alexeyev allegedly assaulted the other man, which caused police to use peppercorns in the capital defender.
“The officers later observed the male suspect involved in an altercate physical with the male subject,” said Daniell. “As the officers approached, the male suspect assaulted the male subject and an officer deployed pepper sprayer when he was taken in a pre -trial detention. The suspect was staged by doctors for exposure to pepper spray.”
Alexeyev was reserved in Arlington County prison at 4:19 in the morning on Saturday morning. Since then he has been released.
Alexeyev, 25, was a first round of Washington in 2018 Nhl Draft. Alexeyev made his NHL debut in 2021 and has played 80 games for the capitals since.
Last season, Alexeyev appeared in eight games without registering any point, but played the ten playoff games of the capitals. His current contract with Washington expires this summer, and is planned to become a restricted free agent.
