Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier Lead Early WNBA All-Star Game Fan-Voting

Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark Has an early lead in the fan vote for the next month WNBA All-Star game, the league announced Friday. The guard in the second year received 515,993 votes.

Clark followed by Napheesa Collier, striker Minnesota Lynx, who received 484,758 votes. There were three other Indiana players in the top 10 with Aliyah Boston third, Kelsey Mitchell Seventh and Lexie Hull Neez.

This year’s game will be played in Indiana on July 19.

The three-time league-MVP A’ja Wilson from Las Vegas and Breanna Stewart from defending champion New York Liberty were fourth and fifth in the voting process. The two were the captains for the All-Star game in 2022 and 2023.

Sabrina Ionescu, Stewart’s teammate, was eight, while the rookies Paige Buston in Dallas and Kiki Iriellen from Washington rounded off the top 10 top 10 in the 10th year. Bustoner was the first selection in 2025 WNBA from Uconn.

The fan vote ends on June 28 and accounts for 50% of the total vote. Current players and a media panel each make 25%. The four best guards and six front court players with the best total number of points between the three groups are recognized as a starter for the All-Star game.

The league coaches choose the 12 reserve players.

The coordination is important that go beyond all braggling rights that they give to a player, since the two starters who receive the most fan votes are the captains of the game and their all-star teams select, the results were announced on July 8th.

This year’s competition will play the traditional format of two teams. The last season was a Matchup from the US Olympic team of the United States against an All-Star team.
