Auburn regains top spot in Andy Katz’s Power 37 rankings

He turned in my Top 15 coaches of the year Committee for the price of Naismmith.

Here are my choices with an order that remains liquid:

  1. Bruce Pearl, Auburn: Coaching Team No. 1 in the country and a favorite national title.
  2. Dusty May, Michigan: May has Wolverines at the top of BIG TEN in one in Ann Arbor.
  3. Kelvin Sampson, Houston: Cougars are constantly winning and now they are a team they beat in a large 12.
  4. Greg Gard, Wisconsin: Dachshunds were chosen to end near Big Ten. The offense has been redesigned and are in the league chase.
  5. Grant McCasland, Texas Tech: McCasland has Red Raiders in a dispute in a large 12, which was not predicted in preseason.
  6. Richard Pitino, New Mexico: Lobos lost key members of their MWC title team to be even better with All-American candidate Donovan Dent and are now a team who beat Mountain West.
  7. Pat Kelsey, Louisville: Cardinals have been in the abyss in the last two seasons and Kelsey has resurrected the program to become the best ACC candidate.
  8. Jon Scheyer, Duke: Blue Devils have potential players of the year, but Scheyer has pieces well to become a candidate for the title and control ACC.
  9. Matt Painter, Purdue: Boilermakers lost the double player of the year, but they have two all-American candidates in Braden Smith and Trey Kauffman-Ren and compete for Big Ten.
  10. Mark Pope, Kentucky: Wildcats dealt with injuries and yet Kentucky has a star Riography with a lot of Quad 1 victories in the Pope’s first season.
  11. Nate Oats, Alabama: The tide was my selection for No. 1 in PSEEASON and could still end up as the best team in April.
  12. Todd Golden, Florida: Gators are in the first four in SEC and are legitimate finals four applicants.
  13. Ben McCollum, Drake: Bulldogs are the first in the Missouri valley in the first season of McCollum since coming from the D2 Power Northwest Missouri.
  14. Randy Bennett, Saint Mary’s: Gaels, not Bulldogs, are the best WCC team.
  15. Tony Skinn, George Mason: Patriots are a team that beat in A-10, which was not a predict preseason (see VCU and Dayton).

March Madness National Team of the Week

Men's basketball Auburn

Auburn: The Tigers bounced off from the nine-point loss of houses to re-ran as the best in SEC and eventually the country with two strong victories on the road-in Vanderbilt by 12 and in Alabama’s opponent nine. He came to the heels of the announcement that Auburn was a unanimous total seed no. 1 in the TOP 16 projection from the male basketball selection commission. Auburn should continue to roll with three straight domestic games before leaving for Kentucky and Texas A&M and hosts Alabama to close the regular season.

March Madness National Player of the Week

John Tonje, Wisconsin: Dachshunds had one game last week and made the most of it when they shocked the Purdue 94-84 at the Macay Arena for 32 Tonje points. Tonje was efficient, scored at 10 out of 15 shots, 4 out of 9 3 SA converted 8 out of 9 free throws. Transfer Colorado State/Missouri uses its one season with Wisconsin. Basically, it became its brand by dropping 41 in the home victory over Arizona in the game of four seasons and this season was in all two games in two games. It makes a strong reason for the first All-Big team with 19.2 points per game. Dachshunds are now 10-4 in Big Ten, two games from the first place, the second game and tied to Purdue in the loss column for the third and fourth double-twos in the Big Ten tournament.

Missed on Saturday ?: no.

March Madness Top 10 Games to Watch

Michigan State in Michigan, Friday: One of the first two rivalries in Big Ten Meets first of twice with the first place on the line. The Spartans got their Mojo back with the victory of the road in Illinois. Crisler should swing on Friday evening.

State Iowa in Houston, Saturday: Houston is the best team in Velká 12. The state Iowa is behind Texas Tech and Arizona and if he wants a shot for the title, then he has to pull out in Houston.

Duke vs. Illinois, MSG, Saturday: Blue Devils will be on Cameron North. MSG loves stars and Cooper Flagg will be on Wednesday. Illini have staff to do it a fun matter, but they have to play their A-Hru to have a chance.

Uconn in St. John’s, Sunday: The garden will still be hot after Saturday evening, when the best rivalry in the Great East in Pitino and Hurley is on the display on Sunday afternoon. Huskies are three games back from Red Storm, and it is necessary to win to have a chance for the title of regular season after lost with St. John’s at home.

Purdue in Indiana, Sunday: I don’t care who fights because this game never disappoints. Hoosiers almost won in Macay a few weeks ago and are in desperate mode with a still external shot to offer. Expect Bloomington to be wild for this Sunday afternoon.

Tennessee in Texas A & M, Saturday: Vols started a week two games back aggies and any chance to end in the first four would help win the road at College Station.

Texas A&M in the state of Mississippi, Tuesday: Aggies must first get around Bulldogs and it will not be easy after Mississippi State defeated Ole Miss and drew even in SEC at 6-6.

Kentucky in Alabama, Saturday: The first game was taken by the tide, but Wildcats have been injured and inconsistent since then and went 3-4. Alabama comes from hard loss of home for Auburn. Kentucky will be the first host Vanderbilt and Alabama will be in front of this game in Missouri.

Saint Mary is in Gonzaga, Saturday: Bulldogs are two games for Gaels and already lost in Moraga. This is necessary if there is a chance to get a tie for the title. Saint Marie should defeat Portland, but ZAGS will have to take care of the Washington state to ensure that this game is of significant importance.

State San Diego in Utah State, Saturday: The Aztecs must pull out this victory if they want to have a chance to end up in the first two in the Mountain West. They should beat Fresno State before to create clearing. San Diego State has already lost one Utah at home.
