Stars vs. Oilers scores, schedule, odds, where to watch as Dallas rallies for come-from-behind Game 1 win

Dallas stars were killed in the water during the first 40 minutes of the match 1 of the Western Conference final against Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday. But in the final 20 minutes, the stars triggered a five-goal barrier to get a 6-3 victory to get a 1-0 series advantage.

In the first two periods, the Oilers were clearly the best team and took 3-1 to the final frame. Unfortunately for them, there was a period left and belonged to the stars.

In just 32 seconds in the third, Miro Heiskanen gave the stars life with a game of power from the point to turn it into a 3-2 game.

This started a parade in the penalty painting for Edmonton and Dallas. The stars scored in three consecutive power plays with Mikael Grand, drawing the game a few moments after Heiskanen’s goal.

Matt Duchene scored his first goal from the Playoffs when he hit a friendly bounce from the funboards only 2:08 after Grandlund stuck the score. Before Wednesday night, Duchene had not found the back of the network in 17 games of the regular season.

When it was said and done everything, Dallas scored three goals at 5:26 to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 advantage. It was a frantic effort of the home team and the roof was about to remove the American Airlines Center.

Another good sign for Dallas was that Tyler Seguin had a great impact with a couple of goals and assistance. Like Duchene, followed entered this deal with a long score drought. He had not scored a goal from the first game of the series of the first round against Colorado’s assessment.

As retiring as the stars, the oilers had to be even more frustrated. Edmonton controlled the game, with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl combining five points in the first two periods, but a winning game fell in his fingers.

Entering Game 2, Oilers’ attention must be out of the penalty box and stars could afford to start better. Then, again, playing Possum for 40 minutes seemed to work on Wednesday night.
