NHL Playoffs 2025: Stanley Cup schedule, bracket, scores, as Maple Leafs force Game 7 vs. Panthers

Anyone who thought that the leaves of Toronto Maple died after three losses in the Panthers of Florida may want to check this pulse again. Toronto entered the south of Florida on Friday night and defeated the defending camps in his own game with an impressive 2-0 victory in match 6.

The Maple Leafs were lost in a 6-1 loss in match 5, and it was just asking if they had enough the tank to keep the series alive in the game 6. Instead, Toronto entered enemy territory and closed a Florida offense that only hung half a dozen goals on the scoreboard last time.

Perhaps the most important thing for the Maple Leafs, Auston Matthews won the game winner in the third period. He attacked the panthers of the hurry and dragged a wise wrist through Sergei Bobrovsky to break a tie.

This goal was the first in Matthews’s series, and it was a huge moment for Toronto’s captain, who faced a mountain of questions in Party 6.

Now the Maple Leafs and Panthers will play a game 7 decisive in Toronto on Sunday night. Prior to that, the Winnipeg Jets and Dallas Stars will play the game 6 on Saturday night, and the stars have the opportunity to close this series on the house ice.
