The final for the AFC Champions League has been set and it will not contain Al-Nassr of Cristiano Ronaldo after they lost 3-2 on the Japanese side Kawasaki Frontale for their home fans. Kawasaki went on with 2-1 during the first half, and it was a lead that they would not leave behind. Kawasaki only took place in the collision for 10 minutes via a goal from Tatsuya Ito before Sadio Mane returned eight minutes later.

The J League side would not let Al-Nasser stay long with another goal in the 41st minute before Akihiro Ienaga gave his team a lead of two goals. Al Nassr insisted on an equalizer with Ayman Yahya who scored in the 87th minute, but despite taking 21 shots and putting six on goal, they could not go on extra time. Ronaldo had a chance to try to bring Al-Nassr level, but despite completing the keeper, he could not get a shot on goal before a Kawasaki defender was there to erase the danger and secure the victory.

After they were eliminated, everything Ronaldo could do, the shoulders shrugged and shaking his head while another chance of silverware went along the road for his team. Al-Nassr was successful in winning the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023 to give Ronaldo his first teamwork with the team, but in the Saudi Pro League and AFC Champions League they struggled despite the scoring of Ronaldo.

Al-Nassr is currently third in the Saudi Pro League, but they are eight points on Al-Actihad. With five more games left in the season, they have to win and hope for some help to catch Al-Eittihad. Ronaldo is the current leader for the Golden Boot with 23 goals, but it has not been enough to move to the first competition.
