USWNT roster: Trinity Rodman returns in attack as USA Soccer gets set for friendlies with Brazil
The national team of American women will be confronted with Brazil in April for a few friendly matches after losing the 2025 Shebelieves Cup in February. Manager Emma Hayes has appointed a schedule of 24 players and two training camp players for the upcoming games if the team wants to get back to the win column. Hayes will mention 23 players for each of the pin agencies.
“Olympians returns to this roster, fewer experienced players who keep trying to prove themselves, a few non -displaced players and some players who have seen and done it. The mix of players together with two games against a dynamic Brazilian team that we last saw in the Gold Medal Game means that this event will be very nice,” said.
“All players know that they have to earn every schedule, every starting spot and every minute they get as a finisher from the bank. Working with players striving for consistency in elite performance, so that they can continue to get call-ups and continue to excel at this level, is an exciting process and a process that continues with these two games.”
For the first time, the Trinity Rodman Support returns to the selection since winning the Olympic gold medal on the Paris Games. Her last game before the USWNT was against Brazil during the Olympic final. Rodman is one of the many stated players with ties with California. The USWNT will play in Sofi Stadium on April 5, just 60 miles from her hometown of Laguna Niguel, California. Rodman previously missed the last different camps, gained a back injury during her time and recently returned to Pitch with an appearance as a sub for the Washington Spirit on Saturday.
Including Rodman, the April schedule contains 10 players who played during the Summer Games of 2024 and 19 of the current 23 players who played on the 2025 Shebelieves Cup. The Spring Series will also welcome the return of Forward Ashley Hatch and defender Alana Cook.
Hatch was part of the camp from 2025 January, although no competitions took place due to the winter event outside an official FIFA window, last before the USWNT against China PR in December 2023. Cook comes again at the schedule after a successful Stint with the Stroom van Kansas City, was part of the first 2023 Fifa.
Together with some familiar faces that return, Hayes also called two training players to camp, Vooruit Mia Fishel (Chelsea FC) and
Goalkeeper Angelina Anderson (Angel City FC).
