Oilers’ Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl expected to miss at least three games as Edmonton’s injuries mount

Edmonton Oilers will be without two of their biggest stars for the predictable future. According to Jason Gregor of Daily FaceoffLeon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid will be lost at least the next three games due to recent injuries.

The Oilers will face the stars of Dallas on Wednesday, the Seattle Kraken on Thursday, and finally the Calgary Flames on Saturday. Draisaitl and McDavid are expected to lose all three games as they continue to work again due to injury.

The oldest that Draisaitl and McDavid could return is Tuesday, April 1st against the Golden Golden Golden.

McDavid suffered a lowest body injury to the team’s 4-3-hour loss against Winnipeg Jets on Thursday. The three winner of the Hart trophy also went to the game on Saturday against Seattle Kraken. In the meantime, Draisaitl’s injury has been indisputable to the team, but lost the last two Edmonton competitions.

Although Draisaitl and McDavid Missing Time is not ideal, it seems that no player is in danger of losing the Playoffs of the Stanley Cup next month.

Draisaitl is having a phenomenal season, as he runs the league in goals (49) while recording the second point more (101) behind only Colorado Avalanche, Nathan Mackinnon. Meanwhile, McDavid has the quarters more (90) behind only Mackinnon (105), Draisaitl (101) and Tampa Bay Lightning Nikita Kucherov (98) star Nhl in assists (64).

Entering Monday, the Oilers are in the third place in the Pacific Division with 87 points.
