Two parties that struggle to get the results they need to stay the course in their domestic title races meet in Eindhoven on Tuesday with injuries-detected arsenal still strong favorites to continue past PSV. Since a victory in Girona in Girona a top eight berth secured them, the side of Mikelal Arteta have first been startled by injuries to Gabriel Martinelli and then Kai Havertz, the attack that they could then roll out of only one victory of their last four games when Arsenal crashed FADEEN and their Beker.
It has been no less tried for PSV lately. A Ryan Flamingo goal may have brought them past Juventus in the Knock -Out Play -offs, but in his own country the side of Peter Bosz has only one victory since the end of January. Last season a demonstrably better side was held at home and hit 4-0 at the Emirates. It will cost something for the Dutch giants to disturb the opportunities over the two legs.

Team news
PSV: All three usmnt stars who have had such successful runs in Eindhoven will be missing when PSV takes on the field on Tuesday evening. Sergino Dest is of course an absent in the long term with a knee injury, while Ricardo Pepi sustained a similar problem last month, season -dependent for the rush. Meanwhile, Malik Tillman hopes that he can return from his ankle injury before the campaign is over. In the meantime, Esmir Bajraktarevic, signed from the revolution of New England, and Mauro Junior are in doubt about disease.
When they met the Emirates last season, PSV seemed to struggle to force their more aggressive approach to the Eredivisie on a larger, stronger, more mobile opponent that she cut to ribbons within minutes. Yet Bosz does not intend to shake things up. “I’m not going to change my playing style,” he said. “I adjust every match to the opponent, but not to philosophy. It’s not just one thing, they are many things, sometimes small things. We have to do better.”
Possible PSV XI: Benitez; Ledezma, Flamingo, Boscagli, Mauro Junior; Veetman, Saibari, Schouten; Long, De Jong, Perisic
Arsenal: It is as you were and will be for the near future when Arsenal is concerned. Strikers Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus will not come back until next season – nor will Defender Takehiro Tomiyasu Takehiro Tomiyasu – while neither Bukayo Saka nor Gabriel Martinelli is expected to be available until after the international break.
The selection questions for Mikel Arteta will be numerous. Is Ben White ready for his first start of the season and MyLes Lewis-Skelly returns completely to the XI? Does it have to be Thomas Partey or Jorginho in midfield that anchor the side? Could there even be a case to drop Mikel Merino deeper or to drop him completely and return to the front three Van Raheem Sterling, Leandro Trossard and Ethan Nwaneri? Those are the struggle of the Gunners for the goal lately – two goals in their last four games – it is difficult to see the option Can’t Miss in front of them.
Possible Arsenal XI: Raya; Tiber, Saliba, Gabriel, Levilly-Skelly; Odegad, Patey, rice; Swalter, Merino, Trossard
Prediction
Expect that Arsenal will keep this tight at the back and try to take one side on the other. It can just work. Choose: PSV 0, Arsenal 1
