Today’s top games to watch, best bets, odds: Brewers vs. Braves, WNBA and more

The National League Central-Tooning Milwaukee Bewers are trying to complete a perfect six-game road trip and expand their winning series to six when they visit the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday evening. After they started their journey by wiping the Washington Nationals, the Brewers (69-44)-who had a four-game division lead on the Chicago Cubs-3-1 and 7-2 victories in Atlanta.

Isaac Collins offered all the attack for Milwaukee in the series opener with a three-run Homer and rode with Andrew Vaughn in a few points in Tuesday’s triumph. The 28-year-old Outfielder collected seven RBI during his last four games after recording the same amount in his previous 12 games.

Veteran left-handed Jose Quintana (8-4, 3.50 ERA), who has allowed fewer than three points earned in three of his last four trips, makes his 17th start of the season for the Brewers. Atlanta provides right-handed Spencer Strider (5-8, 3.71), which has nine straight turns to give up without more than three runs.

The Braves have struggled enormously since the break of All-Star and won only five of their 17 games. Atlanta, however, is a favorite with -132 in the Latest Sportline Consensus OpportunitiesAnd the total is set at 8.

In addition to the Brewers-Braves-Matchup, there are four other games on the MLB Evening schedule, one WNBA competition and seven 2025 Leagues Cup matches.

MLB best bets, where to see

Brewers at Braves

Time: 7:15 pm | Location: Atlanta | TV: FS1 | Current: Fubo (Start watching, save $ 20!)

Sportline Picks – Model: Brewers +1.5 (-189) | Expert: Brewers +118

The Sportline project model likes that Milwaukee keeps the game close by, if not winning downright, because the Brewers cover the spread in 75% of his simulations. Sportline expert Matt Snyder (+386 on his last 13 MLB Picks) feels that Milwaukee will register his ninth victory in 10 general games and seventh upright on the road, in the conviction that the Braves are simply not good enough to delay the red-hot NL-Central Leader.

White Sox near Mariners

Time: 9:40 PM | Location: Seattle | TV: MLB -Network | Steam: Fubo (Start watching, save $ 20!)

Sportline Picks – Model: More than 7.5 (-109) | Expert pound: George Kirby to register Win (-115)

Seattle comes from his fourth victory in five games, an 8-3 triumph over the Al sausage White Sox in the opener of their three-game series. The Mariners, who currently occupied one of the three wildcard spots of the competition, also won two of the three in Chicago earlier this season. The model is of the opinion that there will be no shortage of runs in this competition, while Sportline expert Matt Severance of George Kirby holds in Seattle to include his third consecutive victory and sixth in seven trips, because he expects the right-handed to throw at least six strong innings.

Padres at Diamondbacks

Time: 9:40 PM | Location: Phoenix | TV: MLB -Network | Steam: Fubo (Start watching, save $ 20!)

Sportline Picks – Model: Diamondbacks +1.5 (-132) | Expert prop: Nestor Cortes more than 4.5 strikeouts (+126)

San Diego, which currently has a Wildcard place and follows the NL Western-leading Los Angeles Dodgers with three games, has won eight of his 10 games since he passed a four-game Losing Streak at the end of July. De Padres scored five points in the 11th inning on Tuesday to post a 10-5 victory and even these three-game series. But before that setback, Arizona won three upright and the model believes that the diamondbacks will keep it near Wednesday’s rubber competition. In the meantime, Sportline Expert Bet Guy thinks that Southpaw Nestor Cortes will yield a good amount of strikeouts in his debut with San Diego and the first start in the Majors since 3 April with Milwaukee due to an elbow injury.

ACES at Valkyries

Sportline Pick – Expert: Valkyries +5.5

Las Vegas (15-14) has won six of the last nine games, a piece that started with a 104-102 home triumph over Golden State and continued a 101-77 routine against the Valkyries in Michelob Ultra Arena on Sunday. Golden State (14-14) placed a three-game winning streak prior to that setback and won seven of the last nine at home. Max Meyer from Sportline does not see the Valkyries being blown up in this meeting, because they are dominant against the distribution at home this season.
