Being a pet is not for the weakness of the heart. Between stunts and interactions with the general public (including “well hydrated” and opposite fans), they are often found in precarious positions, but Seattle Kraken Mascot Mascot experiences a different level of danger on a recent fishing trip with striker John Hayden.
Last weekend, Buoy’s official social media account posted a fishing video with Hayden in what was supposed to be a lightweight piece of content for the fans. Instead, it became an episode of “Man vs. Wild”.
Buoy and Hayden, along with the other members of the Kraken Digital Content Team, were waiting for a sting when they almost became the bite. Two bears, possibly Bruins who came to visit during the summer, emerged from the forest and began to pursue them in the water.
The bears dangerously approached Buoy, Hayden and Kraken’s staff, and one of them even started loading the pet. Being the professional pet he is, Buoy did not lose his head and the animals abandoned his search, as everyone escaped safely.
Now, in the modern day and age of social media, it is fair to ask if such an incredible video is real. However, CBS Sports has received the confirmation of the team that bears (and persecution) were real and not written.
There is no shortage of wild pet videos and internet (thank you, Gritty), but few have coincided with the nature of Buoy’s call.
