🇫🇷 Losing the title of Paris Saint-Germain

No matter how much they in the last part of the European season, Paris Saint-Germain have easily been the most dominant side in the club World Cup during the knockout phase, which not only positioned them as the favorites to win on Sunday, but build a case as a case as the best team in the final in the final in the final.
Look no further than their 4-0 demolition of Real Madrid in the semi-final on Wednesday, and surpasses them in just about every category, their dominant style catches the opposition drivers and forced sloppy mistakes. It was a trademark PSG in the new look that Luis Enrique has in mind, one that quickly wears opponents with their unique, high intensive approach, regardless of the qualities that the other team has. It was their third 4-0 victory of the competition, a list of their opening match against Atletico Madrid and their round of 16 triumph against Inter Miami. They also surpassed their opponents 16 on one, that lonely goal against a 1-0 loss for Botafogo in the group stage, a signal that the Enrique strategy has yielded almost impeccable results, even 64 games in their season.
- Enrique: “My phone is full of messages from Barcelona fans, who tells you about how big this game was. You go to 100% for everything that represents this shirt and we know what Real Madrid is, what they were and what they will always be, how great they are. Put the brakes on.”
It is therefore no surprise that PSG is the team to beat on Sunday, just as they have all been a tournament for a long time. There is no real shock value in choosing the ruling UEFA Champions League winners as the favorites in the club World Cup, the story of their run to the final instead a continuation of their tactical transformation in the past months. The French champions were once defined by Star Power, but their biggest achievements have been embraced in a team spirit, one that is about to change a historical treble to its kind of a historic treble.
- Enrique: “This was a goal from the beginning. And now we are only one game away from building PSG’s history and winning all the trophies in which we participated this season. It means a lot to us, for our fans and it is a pleasure to work at this club. We scored 100-plus goals.

PSG’s new custom of dominance is of course accompanied by the question of what will actually be to stop them, a question that is now Chelsea to answer on Sunday.
It is a unique challenge for everyone, but especially for a young team that is still in the early stages of a project led by manager Enzo Maresca, who continues to work with a bloated team. Although PSG has only used 19 players in the course of the World Cup so far, Chelsea 27 used, the tournament that serves as a showcase for players who earn valuable minutes next season. The competition for places is particularly fierce in attack with a handful of newcomers in the mix, perhaps the most remarkable including Joao Pedro. In the period of a week he went from a Brighton and Hove Albion player to the star of the 2-0 semi-final victory of the Blues against Fluminense, his former club. Joao Pedro fulfills a need for Chelsea, as Maresca said in his comments after the game, it commits for himself for a busy season for the team that will include their first trip to the Champions League in three years.
- Maresca: “The reason why we brought him is because we have confronted with many teams this season with [a] Low block and this quality is very good against this type of team and then as a person, first of all, he comes from Brazil, so most Brazilian players are very happy. They enjoy football. … this is exactly the way he showed [Tuesday]. Does not mean that he will be the case all season, because it will not happen, but it is good to have him and also as an option. “
However, Maresca is a bit spoiled for the choice for Sunday’s final. Joao Pedro was a natural selection on Tuesday because Liam Delap was suspended, with the final perhaps a first real glimpse of what the manager may have planned for the coming campaign. Especially a match against PSG will serve as a real measuring stick for a Chelsea side that believes they are building a competition for the future.

💰 The back line
💵 Dear bets
- Club World Cup final: Chelsea vs. Paris Saint-Germain, Sunday, 3 p.m.
💰 The Pick: Khvicha kvaratskhelia to score (+150) -While Paris Saint-Germain approaches what another award-winning performance could be rooted in an exciting playing style, it probably feels that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will play a major role in the process. His arrival meant a turning point in the season of PSG and quickly settled with an impressive offensive output, but to help Luis Enrique find a balance that ensured that every player in the team would play at the height of his powers. Kvaratskhelia is perhaps not the most prominent goal scorer of the team, but there are goals in his game, making him a suitable choice to come up with the score sheet as a PSG attempt to follow Champions League -glory with another important title.
