Caitlin Clark To Miss Matchup With Paige Bueckers Due To Groin Injury
Caitlin Clark’s first matchup against Paige Bueckers has to wait.
The Indiana Fever star was excluded from a second game in a row with a left -wing injury. The Dallas Wings, which had designed Bus dryers No. 1 this year, were supposed to play the fever on Friday evening at the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA.
It is the first time that the Wings played a home game outside the arena on the University of Texas campus in Arlington.
On Thursday, Clark missed the 85-75 loss of the fever against the Los Angeles Sparks. The leak problem is the second injury to reduce it this season. The first overall winner in 2024 had never missed a game in college in Iowa or with the fever before a quad load that she thought for five games.
The loss dropped to 7-8, while the wings won three out of four after a start of 1-11.
In her first game of the quad injury, Clark scored a high season of 32 points and helped the fever to hand over her first loss of season on June 14th.
Clark is an average of 18.2 points, 8.9 assists and 5.0 rebounds, and Bueckers is 17.7 points, 5.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds. Bueckers missed four games this season, first with a concussion and then an illness.
