2025 NFL key offseason dates: When combine, free agency, draft, trades, other important events take place

Here’s a full rundown of the biggest events and when they’re scheduled at a place:
Starting now
Trade teaching: All NFL teams And allowed out and / or agree to any trades involving players and draft reader. However, if the trade includes players in existing contracts, which can be finired and processed until the beginning of a league in March (see below).
February 24, March 3
Scouting to combine: Some College football’s Top Hope will be undergoing workouts and NFL team conversations to Lucas oil stadium in Indianapolis in preparation for the draft.
March 4
Franchise Tag Deadline: In 4 PM and, teams are not allowed to apply to freedom or transition tag to eligible players. Manufacturing that tagged yet yet to sign the contract.

Free Agent Pacatium time begins: Starting to 12 PM and all NFL teams can contact you to actuate potential contracts with certified agents of players with expires contracts. Agreements can be reached in principle, but it is not able to publicly signed.
March 12
New League Year: In 4 PM and 2025 offseason publicly gets underway, that no deals contracts or trades can be consummated and processed. Any free agent or trade discussions to begin after this point can end immediately.
March 30-April 2
Class Covenant Meeting: NFL owners and gather in Palm Short, Florida, such as the goals of the rule changes and other league.
April 7
Offseason Programming begins: NFL teams who hired a new head coach – The Chicago Ullamcorper, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, New York workouts.

Restricted Free Agent Deadline: Anytime players without contracts as restricted free agents (three or fewer approached NFL season) signal to offer accepted by comparison teams or remain free agents.
