📚 Basics of HBCU football

At the FCS level there are 21 football programs at historically black universities and universities (HBCU). FCS HBCU football programs are played primarily at the Athletic Conference (Meac) or Southwest Athletic Conference (SWAC).

Stan Becton joined ncaa.com in 2021 and has since served as a college football, football FCS, track and fields, cross -country countries and HBCU Beat Reporter. It included numerous NCAA Championship events, including FCS Championship, Di Track & Field Championships and Men’s Frozen Four. In addition, he covered college football play -offs and sports events HBCU such as bowls, Meac/SWAC Challenge and Legacy Classic.
