12 of the biggest college baseball transfers at the start of September
The Summer Cycle for Baseball Transfer 2025 represented many big players across the country who traded in their old threads for new ones.
Some were decisions based on coaching changes, while others wanted to enter conferences such as SEC and ACC to try their talent.
And now that the influx has settled and most of the portal goals decided before the start of the school year 2025-26, there are the 12 largest gears in early September.
Henry Ford (Virginia to Tennessee)
Volunteers created huge spraying on the transmission portal, the biggest fish were Virginia Henry Ford.
Sophomore eligible, outfielder and the first baaseman for cavaliers. In two seasons in Virginia he hit 0.348 with 28 Homer and 115 RBI and in 2025 he picked up the selection of the second All-ACC team.
This line of statistics has “MLB draft pick” everywhere.
Player 6-Naha-5, 225 pounds, however, was not selected in the MLB 2025 proposal, decided to head to Knoxville and become the main piece in the plans of 2026 Tennessee. Volunteers created the most daily proposals in this year’s proposal and in their planned line -up for the next season remained more holes. Ford’s Addition some of that coast.
Chris Hacopian (Maryland to Texas A & M)
In the last two seasons, Chris Hacopian has been one of the best hitters in the big ten, and he seemed to have become one of the names of the conference of the conference entering his junior season. Krtstop received a number of All-Big team ten consecutive selection.
Last season he hit 0.375 with 14 Homery and 61 RBI, which led Terrapes in hits (72), doubles (12) and OPS (1.158).
Texas A&M will now gain these benefits and throw Hacopian to the right side of defense with the third Baseman Gavin Grahovac, a newcomer of the year 2024 seconds, who missed most of the last season due to left arm injury.
Another strong season for Hacopian, specifically in SEC, will be huge for agies and its potential design plans 2026.
Joey Volchko (Stanford to Georgia)
Another big name is heading to the depths of SEC and it is one of the most powerful weapons.
The right -hander Joey Volchko has one of the best sets of tools in the ground: an electric fastball that occasionally touches triple digits and a nasty head slider. This does not include its 6-Naha-4, a long and irritated frame.
The biggest problem that Volchko faced in Stanford was his lack of command. Throughout his two seasons for Cardinal, Era organized 5.89 and ended with 72 walks over 113 shifts. On the other hand, he hit 109 strokes.
Volchko is heading to Georgia and will look at the fine -tuning of things and become a key arm to the initial rotation of Bulldogs next to the right -hander Matt Scott, who also moved to Georgia from Stanford.
Do you want a minute dirt Joey Volchko? Certainly yes.
The @Stanfordbsb This afternoon, RHP joined the hard line -up UNC, Pitch 5.1 without score with 6 K and only 2 BB. Up to 97, came out primarily outside the 88-92 mph SL with a fixed shape, flashing low 90s CH and half of the 80s.

I GRACIA (Duke to Virginia)
Aj Gracia faced mass exodus players and coaches Blue Devils, who watched their leader Chris Pollard to Virginia in this offseason.
The Outfielder Duke was an essential part of Blue Devils, specifically in the second half of last season, held the center field while hit 0.293 with 63 hits, 15 home runs and 54 RBI. His 57 walks last year were the most player in the history of the program and received the All-ACC’s second team awards.
Gracia’s production and tools make it such a benefit to Cavaliers and an interesting prospect of 2026 MLB. Expect another big season in Charlottesville.
Tomas Valincius & Aidan Road (Virginia to Mississippi State)
Before Pollard and the company founded a Charlottesville store, long -time coach Virginia Brian O’Connor left to open the state of Mississippi and took several players with him.
This included a top talent like Tomáš Valincius and Aidan Teel’s central player on the left.
Valincius was one of the best weapons of Cavaliers last season, even as a newcomer. He led the team in the era (4,59) and went 5-1 at 13 performances (12 starts), while set off 70 and walked only 17. He joined his older brother Valincius, who moved from Illinois.
Teel was the third selection of the All-ACC team in 2025, hit 0.317 with 20 doubles, seven home runs and 40 RBI. He was the only starter of Cavaliers to end the season with a percentage of 1,000.
Jarren Advincula (California to Georgia Tech)
Before his first season at the helm, coach Georgia Tech Jared Ramsey, he captured one of the best transmission players in California the second Baseman Jarren Advincula.
Advincula was the second All-ACC team in 2025 and it wasn’t just the best Hitter Bears, but one of the most difficult out in all college baseballs. He led the team to hits (81), runs (48), double (17), stolen bases (13) and walks (22) and in his two seasons only 45 times out of 449 AT-Netters.
What team wouldn’t want these numbers in their line -up?
Yellow jackets lost only one of their seven players who hit over 0.300 last season in the Shortstop Kyle Losis, adding Advincula with a perfect addition.

Trent Caraway (State Oregon on LSU)
Caraway was probably the biggest shock that hit the transmission portal, taking into account how big the role played in Oregon State 2025 Men’s College World Series. Performance -eligible Sophomore eligible design provided optimism for its junior season and potential MLB suitors.
He was one of the largest postseason in the 2025 NCAA tournament, and during the Regionals and the other in the Super Regionals he blast five home runs in five games – most in the Oregon state player in the regional round and half of his season (12).
Infielder brings experience with the World series and the falling bat into the ruling line -up of national champions.
Trey Beard (Florida Atlantic to Florida State)
Florida State lost his Friday and Saturday the jugs into the 2025 Mlb concept in the left -wing hands of Jamie Arnold and Joey Volini.
One way to repair the gaping hole? Go pick up one of the top left in the Florida Atlantic Lefty Trey Beard.
Fau Ace was dominant during his Sophomore season and secured a 7-1 record with 3.14 Era and 118 strikes across 86 work shifts to create All-Aac’s first team. It is the first jug in the history of the program, which has recorded 100 or more strikes since 2013.
Beard gives the seminols of a strong candidate for Friday/Saturday to connect with the starting left wes Mendes, who was the Sunday starter for the FSU last season.
Will Gasparino (Texas to UCLA)
After the Men’s College World series from 2025, the UCLA coach John Savage mentioned physical strength as an area of improvement of the season 2026.
Bruins dealt with this need on the transmission portal and adding Texas outfielder will be Gasparino, Power Bat and a native of Los Angeles. In his two seasons for longhorns he hit 0.247 with 25 home runs, 55 extra bases and 96 RBI.
Yeah, and he’s a hawk in outfield. There are not many Gasparino, which cannot get, is reflected in its 0.992 percent of the field last year.
There is no doubt that UCLA has Postseason aspirations after reaching MCWS in 2025 and is expected to return all except one starter, including D1baseball Shortstop Roch Cholowsky. Gasparino, which slips into one hole, rejects their assembly.
Carson Tinney (Notre Dame to Texas)
Texas landed only 2025 D1baseball all-American on the transmission portal in this offseason in the catcher Notre Dame Carson Tinney.
These awards speak for themselves.
Tinney exploded on the scene last season after a quiet first year, hit 0.348 with 17 domestic runs, 13 doubles, 53 RBI and 0.753 percent. 6-Naha-3, 220-Pounder was the finalist Buster Posey Award.
The departure of Rylan Galvin’s catcher was a blow to Texas, but Tinney’s arrival was great.

Drew Whalen (Western Kentucky to Auburn)
The US Pitcher Conference joins Auburn and immediately becomes a strong candidate for work horses for them.
The right-hander Drew Whalen was an ace of Western Kentucky last season, which went 9-3 with 3.53 Era over 81.2 shifts. Helped Hilltoppers to their first regional appearance of NCAA since 2009 and held the dough to the pavement diameter of 0.235 with 90 strikes.
With his experience and previous success at WKU, WKALEN has the opportunity to have an impact on Auburn’s rotation.
